Dr Ross Neethling

Dr Ross Neethling joined the team in 2019 as our Volunteer Resident Veterinary Advisor.  Ross, originally from South Africa moved to the UK in 2003 and joined the Royal Marines.  After 6 years of service Ross left the Marines and embarked on a complete change of his life path.

He decided to go back to university and become a vet to fulfil his lifelong ambition to help animals in need.

In 2015 Ross graduated from university and headed out on a vet volunteer trip to Afghanistan where he worked with Louise for a few weeks.  After his trip in Afghanistan Ross and Louise stayed in touch and he was delighted to be asked to come onboard with War Paws and act as our Resident Veterinary Advisor.

In his spare time Ross enjoys spending time with his son, taking care of his cat Benny, keeping fit and spending time on outdoor pursuits.
