So the time you knew was coming has finally arrived! After many months of deliberation we have decided to bring the handsome Prince Tangye from the shelter in Iraq to the UK so we can find him a special forever home.
Louise first met Prince Tangye, a pure bred Saluki in July 2019, he was very skinny, dirty and nervous and although he came to the shelter to eat he never stayed around for very long preferring to spend his time outside the shelter. A cruel person had hacked his beautiful ears off but to us he is still beautiful.
In October Louise visited again and Prince Tangye was looking much better, he had got used to staying inside the shelter and was no longer a boy who liked to wander off. The weather was getting cooler and we started letting him sleep in the vet clinic at night. It only took a few days for Prince Tangye to decide the vet clinic was his and every day at around 4pm he would be scratching at the door demanding to be let in so he could curl up on the bed we had made for him under the desk.
Louise has just returned from another visit to the shelter and Prince Tangye has let us know he definitely wants to come to the UK and live the life that every prince should live! He spends his day lounging outside wearing one of his lovely jumpers that were knitted by one of our kind supporters and at night he knocks the clinic door to come in for his evening meal and to sleep on his bed under the desk.
The process to bring him home will take around 3 months and we will be actively looking for a new family for him very soon.
Please help us bring our special Prince Tangye home!
