Bring Rosie home
Rosie is our newest War Paws rescue, she came to us shortly before Covid-19 took a hold and closed the world so she is an exceptionally lucky little pup that we were able to get her to safety before lock downs started.
Rosie was meant to come to us a while ago but sadly just 2 days before she was due to be transported to the kennels in Erbil she got really sick, she had awful runny tummy and was very lethargic and we had no idea if we would be able to help her but thanks to being able to speak to her dad with messenger we were able to advise on a course of meds to help her and within a few days she was back to being fighting fit again and we made plans to get her to the kennels.
Rosie’s dad has written about her below
‘Rosie was seen being mistreated and the people she met day to day didn’t show her any kindness. She was malnourished, her head was dipped and she constantly had her tail between her legs. After being taken in she instantly bonded with her new dad, he gave her cuddles, fed her regularly and she started to come out of her submissive shell. She loves belly rubs and playing with her home made tuggy. She has brought such joy to her soldier but needs to be given the best chance possible for a long, happy and healthy life and she won’t get that where she currently is. She deserves a proper family and a forever home.’
