Luna is a small girl who wants nothing more than to find a family of her own. Rescued from Ukraine in the early days of the war it is believed that Luna once had a home. She spent 18 months in a kennel before coming to foster in the UK 3 months ago. Luna is very calm and reserved, and she does take time to trust new people but she is worth the effort. She is good with other dogs but not cat tested. She walks on a lead nicely and enjoys trips to a secure field where she can run around and sniff everything. Luna has shown that she can be quite worried around men, so ideally we will find her a home that is a predominantly female household with the primary caregiver being female. Due to her being so worried about the world, we are looking for a quiet household with no children. We feel she would suit someone who is looking for a loyal companion and is semi-retired, retired or works from home. Luna can live as an only dog if there is someone home most of the time, or she can live with another calm resident dog to help guide her. She has improved a lot since being in foster but now it is time for her to find a family of her own and continue her journey. Her housetraining is going well although she does still need some work as she has the occasional accident. We are looking for someone who has the patience and experience to help bring her further out of her shell and help her to learn how to love and trust again. Apply now if you feel you can offer this special lady what she needs and help her to smile again.
